We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer with expertise in performance testing, cloud platforms, and test automation to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of scalability, reliability, and performance. This role involves working with cutting-edge tools and frameworks, including Datadog, k6, AWS, GCP, and advanced test automation suites.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Performance Test Planning: Design and implement performance testing strategies tailored to complex applications in cloud environments.
Tool Expertise: Leverage tools like k6, JMeter, LoadRunner, and Datadog for performance testing and monitoring.
Cloud Performance Engineering: Optimize performance across cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring cost-effective scalability.
Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured for functional, integration, and performance testing.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Monitoring and Diagnostics: Use monitoring tools such as Datadog
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance issues, conduct in-depth root cause analysis, and recommend optimizations
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to incorporate performance benchmarks early in the development lifecycle.
Documentation: Generate comprehensive test reports and dashboards for technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Performance Testing Tools: Proficiency in k6, JMeter, UI Performance. Should be able to design and maintain Performance framework.
Automation Frameworks: Strong experience in Java, Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured for automated testing.
Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in Java and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
Performance Optimization: Deep understanding of system performance metrics, load balancing, caching, and database tuning.
Agile Practices: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
