Andre leads the CYGNVS Product Team overseeing Product Management, User Experience, Product Solutions and Support. Prior to joining CYGNVS, he was an early employee at Cyence (which was later acquired by Guidewire) where he built and managed a Solution Architecture team. Andre has 25+ years of experience in leading technical customer facing teams and helping the companies he worked for deliver high-quality solutions to their clients.
Nick Essner
Head of Cyber Solutions
As head of Cyber Solutions at CYGNVS, Nick Essner has over 15 years of incident response and crisis management experience. Having led response investigations and remediation to the largest and most complex cyber attacks – he brings first hand experience and lessons learned when responding to destructive cyber events.
At CYGNVS, Nick plays a vital role in accelerating customer value and driving enterprise adoption by developing new solutions to help organizations prepare for a crisis and build resilient response and recovery capabilities.
Nick has served in IR leadership roles at leading cybersecurity companies including Accenture Security and Mandiant.
Kevin Gaffney
Chief Technology Officer
Kevin is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s technology. Kevin joined CYGNVS as one of the founding engineers responsible for the overall architectural design of the technology that powers CYGNVS. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Dublin City University.

Arvind Parthasarathi
Founder & CEO
Arvind has been dedicated to the mission of helping organizations reduce their cyber risk. Most recently he was the Founder/Director and worked pro bono on Cyber Crossroads, a not-for-profit collaborative of researchers from nine universities globally defining a cybersecurity standard of care. Previously, Arvind was the Founder/CEO of Cyence (now merged with NYSE: GWRE), which created a cyber risk analytics platform to quantify the financial impact of cybersecurity risks. Before that, he was President/CEO of Yarcdata (now merged with NYSE: HPE), which created a platform for cyber data discovery. Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Arvind was Senior Vice President and General Manager at Informatica (NYSE: INFA). He serves on the technical advisory council of the Allen Institute of Brain Sciences and on the board of trustees of the Center for Excellence in Education. Arvind holds an Masters in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelors in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Danielle Phillips

Prior to joining CYGNVS, Danielle held finance and accounting management roles at Guidewire, Cyence, Nextag, The Hartford, and PwC. With 15 years of experience, she's a trusted expert in financial reporting, audit, and analysis. Danielle holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Economics from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Ty helps organizations prepare for and successfully respond to cyber crises. Prior to joining CYGNVS, Ty helped organizations discover and resolve insider threats as VP of Sales at Code42, a leading company in insider risk management. He also held sales and management roles at organizations including Criteo, Datapop and Bazaarvoice.
Allen Pogorzelski
Vice President, Marketing
Allen brings over 20 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing to CYGNVS. As the VP of Marketing, he’s responsible for the overall marketing strategy at CYGNVS. Prior to CYGNVS, Allen was VP of Marketing at ArcSite. Before that, he was the VP of Marketing at Openprise and at Selectica. He has also held demand generation and product marketing roles in several startups and publicly traded companies.
Steve Qian
Vice President, Engineering
Steve Qian joined CYGNVS in March 2022. Steve was previously VP Engineering at Ceridian and was responsible for the Human Resource product. Before Ceridian Steve was also VP Engineering at a travel-tech startup, where he built up a new engineering team and delivered innovative new applications to optimize airline operations and passenger experience. Steve spent close to 17 years with Informatica (via acquisitions) where he was part of the pioneer team that developed the market-leading Master Data Management (MDM) product. As VP of Product Development, he was responsible for the MDM core technologies, platform and solutions. Prior to Informatica, Steve held various technical positions with Epiphany, Oracle, TD Bank and CAE Electronics.
Jane Veeder

Jane brings over 20 years of insurance experience in underwriting, marketing, and client relationship management at the Fortune 500 companies AIG and Zurich; she began her career at Lloyd’s of London. As Director of Global Client solutions, Jane partners with her customers to help curate their CYGNVS experience on behalf of their policyholders. Jane’s goal is to anticipate her clients’ needs, inspiring trust through her creativity and ability to drive successful outcomes.

Vijay is the Chief Information Security Officer at Google DeepMind, responsible for building the global security program that protects the people, ideas, and systems that are solving intelligence. Prior to Google DeepMind, Vijay was the Global Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Blackhawk Network leading security, compliance, production infrastructure, and corporate IT teams. Viay also led teams at Mandiant responding to data breaches, and led large-scale engineering teams at Booz Allen Hamilton that built systems to protect mission critical systems against sophisticated attackers targeting the US Government and Military in the defense and intelligence space.
Vijay holds a BS and MS in Computer Science and executive education in Corporate Governance and Risk Management. He is an active advisor to builders and investors in the space of enterprise software and security.

Dave Conroy recently retired from McDonald's Corporation following a 30-year legal career. At McDonald’s, Dave had served as Associate General Counsel and Global Chief Privacy Officer. He had accountability for three global legal practice groups: Privacy, Commercial and Technology. Dave’s teams were responsible for global privacy program development and privacy law compliance as well as data incident response management, providing legal support on corporate transactions and commercial relationships with third party suppliers and service providers, and legal support for all digital and technology initiatives. Earlier in his tenure, Dave was actively involved in the purchase and sale of each McDonald’s Partner Brand portfolio business, including Boston Market, Pret a Manger, Donatos, Fazoli’s and the Chipotle IPO. Dave has also served as General Counsel to McDonald’s USA McOpCo division (all of the company owned restaurants in the United States).
Dave has a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law (1993) and a BA in Political Science from Illinois State University (1990).
Charles Davis

Chuck has more than 30 years of experience in the private equity and investment banking industries. He is the Chief Executive Officer at Stone Point Capital and Chairman of the Investment Committees of the Trident Funds. Chuck joined Stone Point in 1998, and he is actively involved in all of Stone Point’s portfolio investments. He is the chief architect behind Stone Point’s “Elephant Process” investment philosophy and partnership model with founders and owner-operators.

Dennis P. Gilbert, Jr. has 35 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity, technology, strategic planning and risk management across both the private and public sectors. He is the Founder and CEO of Vector9 Consultants, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) that provides strategic cybersecurity guidance for critical infrastructure entities at greatest risk. He is also serving on multiple boards for a variety of small and large cybersecurity-focused businesses.
Between 2014 and 2022, Dennis was the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the two largest energy/utility companies in the U.S. (Duke Energy (Fortune #126) and Exelon Corporation (Fortune #92)). Prior to these two CISO roles, he served as the Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity to the Department of Defense’s Chief Information Officer. In 2005, Dennis retired from the USAF, where he held key leadership positions in national-priority programs. Dennis received a master’s degree in systems management from the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Louisiana Tech University.
Marc Goodman

Marc Goodman has spent a career in law enforcement and technology. He was appointed futurist-in-residence with the FBI, worked as a senior adviser to Interpol, and served as a street police officer. Patrick Gorman is senior technology leader with over 35 years of experience, working in multiple capacities in digital strategy, systems and product development, technology risk management, and cybersecurity in both the government and commercial sectors.
Mr. Gorman was recently an Executive Vice President with Booz Allen Hamilton where is a leader in the firm’s 5G and cyber practice and as the head of Dark Labs, the firm’s Cyber incubator, and Bright Labs, the firm’s digital incubator. He previously served as the head of Strategy and Product at CyberGRX, a Cyber Third Party Risk Management company and he was the Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Bridgewater Associates, where he was in charge of cyber, physical, and staff security for the world’s largest hedge fund. Mr. Gorman was also the Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, where he had global responsibility for cyber security policy, cyber technology and controls, compliance management and security operations.
His technology and risk background stems from holding the position as Asst. Director of National Intelligence (ADDI) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the U.S. Intelligence Community where he was responsible for IT transformation and cybersecurity for all national intelligence agencies in the US.
He holds degrees in government and economics from the University of Maryland, a Master of Arts in Russian and Eastern European Studies from the George Washington University. Patrick sits on numerous boards of firms focused on cybersecurity and privacy.
Matt Honea

Matt is a security leader and currently serving as the Head of Security and Compliance at Forward Networks. Matt previously served as Head of Security at SmartNews Inc, a Tokyo based startup, and has held senior positions at organizations in both the private and public sector and is a former US Diplomat. He has a broad background in the areas of threat intelligence, enterprise networking, incident response, system forensics, malware analysis and physical security. Tom was a consultant at McKinsey and Company, from 1986-1990. He graduated with AB and MS Degrees from Stanford University in 1977 and 1978; and an MBA from Harvard Business School, in 1986. He served as a Trustee of Phillips Exeter Academy from 2004-2014, and is currently a Trustee of the New York Yacht Club.
Sean Kanuck

Sean Kanuck is a professional attorney, CEO of the strategic consulting firm EXEDEC, and an Affiliate of Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC). Previously, Sean served as the first U.S. National Intelligence Officer for Cyber Issues from 2011 to 2016 after a decade of experience in the CIA’s Information Operations Center, including both analytic and field assignments. He was also appointed Chair of the Research Advisory Group for the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace and Director of Cyber, Space and Future Conflict at the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
Sean holds degrees from Harvard University (J.D.; A.B. in Government & Philosophy), the London School of Economics (M.Sc. in International Relations), and the University of Oslo (LL.M. in Public International Law). Bill Stewart, is a consultant, board member and technical advisor focused on the development of cyber security products and solutions. He has over 30 years of experience leading businesses that manage and mitigate cyber risk. Most recently he was a Senior Vice President of Strategy for Mandiant, responsible for developing new offerings to accelerate business growth. He also held several other senior corporate positions including Executive Vice President for Booz Allen Hamilton and Chubb Insurance.
In his position as Division President of Chubb’s Global Cyber Risk Practice, Mr. Stewart was responsible for the development and implementation of Chubb’s strategy to deliver the full suite of property and casualty cyber insurance offerings worldwide.
Mr. Stewart served as a Signal Officer in the US Army. He holds an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University and a B.S. degree in engineering from Widener University.
