founded in 2020 by Arvind Parthasarathi
CYGNVS (pronounced SIG-nus) was founded in 2020 by Arvind Parthasarathi, an entrepreneur with over 20 years of technology experience in Silicon Valley. Before founding CYGNVS, Arvind founded CyberCrossroads, a not-for-profit research collaborative that spanned researchers from nine different universities globally including Stanford, MIT, Oxford, the London School of Economics, and the University of Tokyo, to develop a standard of care in processes for cyber security.
Out of that research, it was clear that most of the world’s organizations were not prepared for a cyber crisis. That work led to the founding of CYGNVS, a SaaS technology company with the mission to help organizations prepare for an inevitable cyber crisis.
CYGNVS has raised $55 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, with EOS Venture Partners and Stone Point Ventures.

Silicon Valley, California, with offices in Ireland, Canada, and India.
