CYGNVS Launches AI Incident Command Center to Manage AI-Driven Operational Crises

Cyber Resilience Begins in the Boardroom – Why I’m Joining CYGNVS

July 28, 2025

A little while ago, I had an unforgettable experience at Stanford Directors’ College. There, some of the world’s top board members and C-level executives gathered to discuss the issues that keep them up at night. Topping the list: cyber attacks.

The highlight was a live cyber attack simulation. Watching over 200+ board members and executives respond to a ransomware scenario was an eye-opener. This wasn’t just theory – it was a raw, real-time crisis, and their reactions were revealing. The atmosphere was electric as leaders faced tough decisions: Should they pay the ransom? When should they disclose the incident? How do they communicate internally when systems are down or compromised? One lesson was clear: waiting to figure out your response until a crisis hits, is not an option.

It’s obvious that the pain of unpreparedness is real, and the need for a reliable solution is greater than ever. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce I’ve joined CYGNVS as Global VP of Revenue. More than 2,500 organizations now rely on CYGNVS as their Out-of-Band Command Center for Cyber Resilience, reducing the cost and impact of incidents and outages.

When systems are unavailable or compromised, IT, security, business teams, and external partners can communicate and collaborate securely with CYGNVS. As a fully out-of-band command center (separate from your primary network), CYGNVS lets you prepare and import response plans, practice playbooks and protocols in tabletop exercises, successfully execute your response, and seamlessly report to regulators and customers.

Cyber readiness isn’t just an IT or security issue anymore. It’s a boardroom imperative, driven by new regulations, escalating threats (including AI-powered attacks), and greater board accountability. The best time to prepare is before a crisis, not when the clock is ticking.

Asserting and Preserving Privilege in Cyber Crises

Asserting and Preserving Privilege in Cyber Crises When a data breach occurs, communications and documents created during the response can become evidence in lawsuits or regulatory investigations. Legal protections like attorney-client privilege and attorney work-product doctrine may apply, but courts have increasingly narrowed their scope. This whitepaper explains the limits of these protections, recent case […]
